Michelle visited and ministered with the Matteson family for about one month in the cities of Irkutsk and Angarsk, Russia (Siberia). It was a unique experience to work and study with members of the Russian Orthodox church. Latin American Catholics are one thing, but the Communist oppression was still very obvious. It took much more time to build up relationships and trust with the Russians in order to study the Bible with them more indepth.
