Ladies' Bible Class ~ Church-wide Fast,
Saturday, March 25
The members of the Church of Christ in Cabudare, Venezuela (4-5 hours
from Caracas) have decided to focus on fasting, among other things in the teaching
for 2006. Each month, the members are encouraged to choose a day to fast, and
once every two months, the church is invited to fast together and get together
to break the fast. Saturday, March 25 was the first of these church-wide fast-breaking
activities and Michelle was invited to speak to the ladies at that time. She
spoke on being "Given Over to God," as in full and complete dedication
to Him and His will. The class was well-received and there was a group trivia
game afterward with Bible questions. Zulmelly, one of the non-Christian young
ladies from East Caracas, was able to accompany Michelle on this trip. The class
was an encouragement to her and the time on the road was taken advantage of
for clearing up some Scriptural doubts and sharing about other life-struggles.
