The week that the East Caracas Team was in the Amazon, there were other Christians from the city of Barquisimeto who had also gone to serve in the Amazon. The preacher in Barquisimeto, Leo Rojas, has been coordinating and encouraging the Venezuelan preachers to visit the Amazon and preach the gospel there. The East Caracas Team is the largest group thus far that has answered that call.
