Morganito I is a port community on the Orinoco River that forms the Colombian/Venezuelan border. Because of the nature of such border towns, the team decided it was best to avoid any potential encouters with the Colombian guerrilla groups. A hasty packing and exit after midnight took the team back into the city of Puerto Ayacucho for the final day and visit with the church there.
