Mama Rosa's house is in the southern part of Sucre State just south of the part of the road known as "La Vuelta de la Cucaracha." Yes, novice Spanish-speakers, the word cockroach is in that name. The turn in the road is so sharp that it is known as Cockroach Turn. Most cars wait for others to pass instead of having two cars in so sharp a turn at the same time. It was fun for the group to tell people that they were going to Cockroach Turn during the Easter holiday.
