Michelle's original plan was to move with a team targeting Bogotá, but the team had to change its plans in light of political instability.

Michelle was able to be present when the church in north Bogotá was established March 2000. Since that time, she has returned for various campaigns and general visits in continuation of her work with the Colombian ladies in evangelistic and discipleship-type studies. Since she is only able to be in Caracas under a tourist visa (for the time being), she takes advantage of the close proximity of the two countries and makes a productive visa-renewal trip to Bogotá once every three months.
